ARS Tubs in a Vision Rack-Will it Work?

SPJ01 Aug 03, 2007 09:05 AM

Anyone use the grey American Rodent ARS70 tubs instead of the Vision CB70 tubs?
Do they fit in the vision rack?
If you have them, how do you like them?
I need to get tubs for a vision rack and the ARS ones look like the way to go but want to check first before I spend the cash.
Thanks.

Anyone use the grey American Rodent ARS70 tubs instead of the Vision CB70 tubs? Yes, we replaced the CB-70 tubs because of the built in cup holder. We also found the cb-70 tubs starting to sag under the weight of the bigger females.

Do they fit in the vision rack? Sure do!

If you have them, how do you like them? 10x better than the cb-70 tubs. We prefer the gray ones. You will enjoy not cleaning water bowls....

Iris makes the CB-70 tub that has been the workhorse of the Ball Python breeders for over a decade now.

ARS makes an almost identical tub that is much thicker and stronger than the Iris tub and Vision makes the V-70 tub which is the exact same size as the other two and is also thicker and stronger than the Iris CB-70 tub.

The Iris and the ARS tubs have ribs on the bottom that make a bit of a clackety sound when you slide the tub in the Vision rack.

The Vision V-70 tub is all smooth on the bottom which makes for smooth sliding.

Hope this helps.

The Vision V70 tubs are far superior to the CB70 tubs. They slide in and out MUCH smoother. The extra thickness is nice also. They don't twist and flex like the CB70 tubs do.

I just ordered 11 of the grey tubs with the built in cup holder. Hopefully, I won't have dumped water bowls everyday when they come in.
