Video of our dragon arm waving!!

EddieF Aug 03, 2007 10:08 AM

I just think this is so cute, not to mention fascinating. Our little male Rankins dragon shown here is arm waving at our female Beardie across the room. He doesn't do it often so it's hard to get a good picture or video, but you can definitely see him do it.

The book we have says it basically means either "hi, I'm a dragon!" or "Please don't hurt me!" Either way, it's one cool pet moment in my book...

just click on the image and the video should pop up.

Fantastic! My little fella used to arm wave to me after every breakfast but that stopped after he was about 4 months old. It was great, my mother and I used to sit there waiting for it like a show. Now at 5 1/2 months he just looks at me as if to say "hey, I want seconds!"

It is so cool to watch little baby dragons arm wave. I rarely seen my own pet dragons do it but then again, both dragons i have owned were purchased older than your little guy.

When I watched the video, I first thought you used cloth as a substrate and was going to suggest removing it, as nails can get caught and risk being pulled out..then I realized that was your shirt (or somebody's shirt) and not in a cage LOL The little dragon was waving from your shoulder, waving at the camera I guess

Yeah he was on my wife's shoulder there, but definitely waving to the Beardy across the room. I ran and got the camera and luckily he had one more wave in him that I got on film!
