Nice snake, but I don't know.....the belly doesn't look like any of the ones I have that are offspring from granite parents. There's something about a real one that goes beyond the speckles, belly, and broken neck stripe. If you get a chance, take a look at a proven one. Once you've had one, it's real obvious.

Here is a picture of a proven genetic granite ball python. It seemed to look very similer to me female.....Who knows They are both black with speckling, have yellow bellys and sides, broken neck stripe.....or maybe i just have a dark female like you guys said.

Sorry, but I don't see any resemblance between that snake and your female. Only way to know is to breed her out and see!

Your right the picture looked different when it was smaller.....lol

Until you breed it and prove the trait, genetic cannot be used in the same sentence.
Until that is done and you duplilcate the snake, it is nothing more than what we see there......a ball python.
I have to agree though, looks normal to me.

Here's my female granite who gave me a surprise clutch this year. She's a rescue who is around 3-4 years old and was kept with a male Ball for that whole 3 years. Her name is Alaranth and she likes to launch herself out of her tub for mice Little snot.

We'll see how the hatchlings turn out, not that any of them are going anywhere anytime soon.
