i understand that it is important to have some sort of moist container in a terrarium for your geckos to shed in, and i was wondering if they made any that looked natural, like in a desert setting for the layout of the terrarium or if you have to make one with like gladware. any better alternatives or suggestions?

You can make one and decorate it with moss...? I'll give you a good website with some ideas. Just let me know if the URL doesn't work. http://www.stoplightcityleopardgeckos.com/makingahumidhide.htm

Just copy and paste!

I was in PetsMart a few days ago and they carried a 2 pc. cave type hide that I believe was marketed as a humid hide. The bottom sat on the substrate with a 1/2" lip and the top fit over it with a large enough entrance for aleopard gecko (and probably many other critters). I cant remember who made it but it was $20 or so and looked fairly natural. Its easy enough to make your own but if you want to buy one and bypass the hassle, this is something to consider.
