Hey Nicole!!! (and all)

Bert just sent me a mail this morning, and told me that Amigo was not born in 2002 as he originally thought he was, he was actually a sexable male from this year, born about a month or two ago!!!!! This really makes more sense where his size and coloring are concerned, because his head is still quite green. I did measure him though and he is 18 inches long, so that makes him quite a big baby.
He ate 10 superworms last night, so there is nothing wrong with his appetite so far!! (also I pulled some shed off of his chin last night too)
He and asia are actually getting used to each other now, she still puffs when he comes too close, but as soon as he sees that he heads in the other direction!! LOL

So all in all, I have abig spoiled baby on my hands and I am loving it

I knew that tegu was too much smaller then my two to be from the same year !
Well the only thing I can say is, you *will* have a large tegu someday with a small one, but will never have a small one when you get a larger one....enjoy each stage

On a OT note: How far is Orlando from Daytona? (time wise)

Thanks

Nicole,

Orlando is about 30 mins from Daytona, give or take 10 mins for traffic.
