Sealing MDF

ROLL_emBOAS Aug 05, 2007 12:39 AM

Does anyone use MDF for cages? What sealant would you use? I know it can fall apart easily. Also, I've gotten mixed messages about MDF. Many people things it is horrible, and others say its the only thing they use. What is the general idea?

Thanks,
Rai

Contact paper for kitchen cabinets works, the self adhearing type. I would use Thermo Fused Melamine instead, kinda the same stuff but already sealed and ready to go, except the edges, which they sell an iron on edge thing for it
