First i have to say that daytona was great. Got there right at 10:00 and started to walk around the ocean center. After one round trip the choices were just too plentiful. I went there with a few things i needed to get (hook , and a subscription to reptile mag). The first thing i got was the mag, 2 years for the price of one Next i got two snake hooks from mid west tong. finally i got to the snakes. so many stunning snakes. the ones that stuck in my mind were a couple of gray rats from fancy pets (i think), all of the silver queen corn snakes from rich z. and some of the jungle carpets from various vendors. But none of them had a leg to stand on compared to my new aquisitions.
I have seen the pictures of beauty snakes many times on kingsnake, and didn't think much of them. Upon seeing them in person i know what all of the fuss is. Amazing snakes. after 4 hours and countless laps around the ocean center i picked up a pair of blue beauties for $100. I can't wait until they get older.
