Some the same, some different........

CrimsonKing Aug 05, 2007 07:51 PM

My old male "mendota" type (my description) Cal king passed this spring after fathering many many young'n's. He was bred the last 7 yrs. or so to my son's "banana" type and we always got such a variety that I never changed that pairing. I've posted the pics of some many times before.
Anyway, I was kinda surprised this year when I used a typical banded dark brown/creamy white male to breed that banana female and got almost the same crazy mix so far including this type

The only difference I can see so far is the lack of the eye stripe that some had with the "old pairing". hmmm.
So I guess we'll keep on going with the Cal kings here....

I always thought those eye stripes were really cool. Have you bred any to each other yet?

but they dont need eye stripes to be SWEET. That is one nice striper.

Are you selling any of those super stripers? message me if you are.
