i heard about that the other day and it seems like yeah a cop killed a kid who cares. the part on the bottom as to where it says about if you were to put a kid in a car without a car seat got into a accident and the kid died you would be in jail for murder a cop shoots a kid and nothing happens is oh so very true.
cops get away with to much yeah we need them in some aspect but i think when they do wrong they still need to be held responsible anywhos you got mail lol

That is just awful! Why did the snake need to be killed anyway? It didn't mention it as being a danger to anyone. From what I gathered, it sounded like it was just on somebody's property and they didn't want it there. Too sad. Too unnecessary.

Hope it was a big snake to be hitting it with a bullet instead of a shotgun cuz his aim says he was 0 for 2 but stupid cops are way too abundant nowadays unfortunately which just happens to be another downfall for society

wow that's horribly sad. what was the officer thinking shooting at a snake in a tree? how could that ever seem like a good idea? he should definitely loose his job over this if not go to jail for such a horribly reckless and stupid act.

There are some states where it is a crime to kill a harmless local snake. There are also some states where any death that comes as the result of a crime is a murder. I just hope Oklahoma has the right laws. Wouldn't that be nifty?

It is very sad and how some people who are supposed to protect and serve think this was a responsible act is beyond me.

that was along time ago now says the gun is the first thing out for a snake up a tree a rat in the house a whatever in or around whatever. human animal it doesnt matter the first thing cops think about is there gun. kinda sad

rainbowsrus Aug 06, 2007 04:29 PM

a shotgun woulda been way more effective in taking out a snake and way less lethal to anything else not in direct shot pattern range.

of course direct range of a shotgun is REALLY bad lol but hey may have been hit more or less by the shotgun tho. look at it this way the freakness of a single bullet hitting the kid is just insain.

rainbowsrus Aug 06, 2007 04:38 PM

that was the second bullet and both eneded up within several feet of one another.

yeah almost as it was ment to happen as BAD as that sounds but freak things like that make you think. its like wow a cop shooting at a snake up in a tree hits a boy in the head fishing by a pond thats just way to bizzare.
