The brush off at TP&W

lbenton Aug 06, 2007 12:43 PM

It looks like Todd K never notified TP&W of Joes meeting and in fact most likely did not plan to take our concerns anywhere.

What is even better is that they talk about "If the herpers continue, I believe the general public needs to get involved and express their concerns about any road hunting......they far outnumber the herpers.

Not sure that TP&W should be doing anything at all to manipulate policy, such as lobbying to get the general public involved to make us stop "crying the blues".

Instead they should be ready to listen our concerns and interest, not saying that they should just bend to our will, but to not even want to listen to us is just irresponsible management on the part of this agency.

Interesting that Sinclair ends the communique (and apparently all others) with the moniker "sin". Rather apropos it seems...

I'm sure Mr. Sinclair tries to do a good job in fulfilling the requirements of his position, but I'm awe-struck at the institutional bias conveyed in his correspondence.
