Sometimes I wish there were snacks for snakes. Just a little, 'here you go' treat from time to time without having to thaw something out.

But, snakes don't really work that way, do they.

Once, when I was younger, I was eating some boiled chicken before it went into a rice dish. I was also holding my kingsnake (is this a recipe for salmonella?!), and she ended up working her way to the chicken and eating a piece I was holding. I thought it was cool, and I guess that counts as a "snack"

I used to have a green anole that would eat bits of fried chicken from my hands.

those silly snake sausages I seem to remember hearing about a long time ago? Were they frozen also? Did that company crash?

It's a great idea, but probably not enough sales volume to keep the business going. Too many folks set in their ways I guess.

Maybe freeze drying is the way to go, but then you'd still have to rehydrate I guess, which involves soaking mice in water anyway.....dumb idea. Ok. Sorry.
