SHARP Strain SNOWGLOW!!!

reptilia Aug 07, 2007 05:56 PM

Well it is a small litter, but I got my SNOWGLOW!

I could not be any happier about the odds and how this little guy/gal turned out. Look at the striping!!!

This is my first Snow (and Snowglow) I have ever owned- I figured I would wait until I produced my very own Sharp Strain version.

I produced a litter of Triple and Double hets back in 2004 to which the dam came from. The male DH Snow whom sired this litter was produced by Ryan Horsch of R&R Boas. I wanted to make sure the parents were as unrelated as possible. I hope I am able to produce more next year, as I will have a few females ready to go.

I am in the middle of moving and building my new snakeroom, so I must go. I will do my best to update you all with pics after he/she sheds. Enjoy!!!

Comments welcome!

Best Regards,

Outstanding snowglow. I'm glad that you used that name. I think it fits. It stands out nice with that sharp gene and the lateral striping is awesome. Keep em coming, Trey

That puppy is not only a very cool snow but just plain cool! Great pattern! Have you seen any other Sharp animals with that kind of pattern before? Awesome!!!

responsible for the striping. It made it really easy to identify him/her as a Snowglow.

Thank you for your kind words,

Great job Ron! It didn't happen for me this year, so if it was going to happen this year I'm glad it was you! Very cool bonus on the striping, too. Congratulations!!!

is very fulfilling to have a project go full circle. You have to have a lot of patience with boas- with 3 years being minimum!

That is a steller looking Snowglow! I LOVE all the purple hues on the body. I was curious to see how the Sharp strain Hypo Snow would look compared to the Moonglow! If there had to be only one in the litter, at least it turned out to be a spectacular speciman!
