Check out Will and Phil's Blackkingsnake dot com. I don't know if they sell cb offspring or not, but they would surely know some breeders.
Besides, it is a cool website showing variation in the subspecies.

wow, you're right, chrish! Cool site, and cool snakes. Here is one from that web site from Alabama:

0.1 Lampropeltis Getula Floridana
1.0 Elaphe Guttata Slowinskii

That appears to be a speckled king or speckled/black intergrade, I have never seen a speckled with such reduced spots, it is very cool in its' own right.

Check that site, Todd. Alot of those Blacks look like they've got holbrooki influence. Guess that's what I like about them.

Not a lot of people breed them it seems. They are seen from time to time at shows and very inexpensive to boot. I think they are great snakes and everyone should have at least a pair of L.g.nigra!

Last year I sold off many of my CB babies and LTC's E. Black Kingsnakes locales(various counties in KY,TN,IL,AL)I will try to track some of the guys down for you and see if they are breeding or selling any. I wish I had kept a few back for my self especially the real solid black ones from TN,and Lyon and calloway county KY but I had to make room for other snakes.Dave
