Have any snake tattoos?

railrider1920 Aug 08, 2007 02:03 AM

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo. I'm trying to come up with a design with my wifes initials. I'm also thinking about a snake tattoo. Maybe a tribal type snake. I'm thinking about putting it on the inside of my bicep. I remember someone here got a BRB tat. Anyone have any you'd like to share? Maybe give me some ideas.

well i don't have any tattoos myself but i had an idea you could try. you might combine your two ideas and get a snake tattoo with your wifes initials in the snakes pattern. i know a friend that has a cross with his late fathers initials combined into the design of the cross that looks great. like i said just some food for thought but it could look cool.

I was drawing a little last night and thought about the same thing. Maybe it'll work out.

I have been thinking about a snake tat for a while now. I just need to get really good pic's of some of my snakes, so my artist can draw it up. It will be a BRB tat on my upper arm - delt area.

Jeff Corwin has a snake tat on his arm - I am not sure what it is - as they do not show it too close on TV.

Also, many artist's will not tat initials of a wife or girlfriend on people - only kids and people who have passed on. If they do do wife's names and initial - they usually make it easy to cover at a later date.

My wife just got one done on her ankle with my name. The guy did some really good work and was very very clean. Changing gloves quite often.

From a google search

QUIZ! What is Jeff's tattoo on his arm and what is its significance?: Coral snake! It bit him.
A video of him. Not a good shot of the tat though.

A different search result:
Corwin has a tattoo of a coral snake on his left shoulder. He says his wife made him do it while they were in Thailand. He also says it's a reminder to be careful while handling snakes, a species he says is his favorite. His pets are down to three cats, reduced from a sizable menagerie before the baby was born.

Thanks for the research on Corwin's Tat. He talks about a coral snake being the only venomious species to bite him on a couple of his shows.

i can't see it very well, but did u get burned on ur left breast (what do u call man boobs anyway when they arent big enough to be man boobs, is breast right??) cuz i couldn't tell if your tattoo was just in three parts or if you had somehow gotten burned very badly and thats scar tissue. or do tattoos not leave with scar tissue?

well it looks like I drank too much Jack Daniel's and tried to burn a circle and a slash through the tattoo, well that's how I remember that day any ways lol...I remember using a very hot beer can and a knife held with pliers, not my smartest moment in existence....

ouch! well if it helps any, my sister got drunk and pierced her bellybutton (i think she did it with a needle or something at a party, i wasn't there) anyway it was all blood and pus for weeks. and my friend got drunk and decided to sled down the river, it ripped ALL the skin off her butt and thighs, she couldn't sit for months. so urs isn't all that stupid. =)

That is one cool head tattoo! (Although I have no desire to ever get a tattoo myself; temporary tattoos I'll do, but I don't like the idea of a permanent image I may get sick of...)
