I was fortunate enough to have gone to the Daytona show and meet Russ Gurley in person whom I've sold some tortoises to in the past. He as published a new book and I have to say, it is EXCELLENT!! I am new to turtles and found this book to be extremely informative and one of the best reptile publications I've seen in a long time. Well worth the money!! I think it's great.
So many books tell you where an animal is from and it's taxonomy but little or nothing on how to KEEP it.
Gurley's book is full of an experienced keepers findings and tips...very valuable!
