Well - I don't post here very often, but I had to share the exciting news!
It's been a long two months since I found 6 eggs under my normal girl.

I'd like to share my experience (it's not something I'm proud of, and I'm sure I'll get yelled at, but I learned a valuable lesson)
It all started in December 2006 when I introduced my Albino male to my Normal female.
I caught this one hook-up, before I got notice of a change in my job, which involved many more hours, and a lot more time away from home.

So i figured I'd put my breeding plans on the shelf till next year. Since I wasn't home very often, I missed ovulation and pre-lay shed. I never saw any signs she was gravid.
I came home about 2 months ago, and checked on the shakes - and there she was coiled around 6 eggs. She must have laid them about 5 days prior - 3 were already going bad. This was a total surprise, and I figured I was too late. I decided to go ahead and put the clutch in the incubator just in case.
Then the big surprise came last night, when I saw a little head poking out of one of the three remaining eggs. Then another one this morning. I hope to see the 3rd one tonight!
So - moral of the story: I've gotta pay closer attention to my snakes.
These are 100% Het for Albino (I hope they're girls)!
Thanks for reading!
