Question is will the codom will it show either a G or VPI type or a combo het? and the super?

So far the assumption is that all the regular lines of pastel (with the possible exception of some of the newer lines like enchi) are mutations of the same gene. It's hard to say if differences in lines are then only due to other genes in the line or if there are variations in the mutations of a common pastel gene. Either way, each egg from VPI pastel X Graziani pastel should have a 25% chance of being a super pastel. Basically this is a het X het breeding with a 25% chance of producing a homozygous (super) pastel.

Whether or not you could pick the two lines out of the babies when that super is bred to a normal depends on how consistent the look of the two lines are and how many genes are responsible for those looks.

However, if there are some lines of pastel which turn out to be mutations of different genes it's still possible that the snake with the two genes combined will look like a super. The test will be when that super is bred to normals. If two different genes are involved the fake "super" bred to normal will be able to produce some normals and some more like it's self along with the two original lines. A true super pastel X normal would produce only pastels. An example of a false super is pewter from crossing pastel and cinnamon. The pewter is a pretty super looking combo but subsequent breedings have proven that the two mutations are different genes even though they have an unexpected synergistic effect when combined.

I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has combined enchi pastel with any of the other lines and if they got a super looking animal what they got breeding that to normals. It's widely believed that enchi is not the same mutation as regular pastel so if it's not even the same gene the combo snake should be able to produce some normals bred to a normal.

so i suppose i will also expect some V looking and some G looking pastels, will the supers be combo or fake??? the V line is cleaner w/ less blushing and the G is a blusher

From those two lines I would expect the super to be the real homozygous pastel. Whether all the regular (heterozygous) pastel babies would fall neatly into the two parent types or if you would have a continuum between the two types I don't know.
