What do you use for hides?

rsherman79 Aug 10, 2007 08:59 AM

I have my balls set up in a freedom breeder rack and I am currently using the extra large Zilla hide boxes but they are only good for a snake up to about 2,000 grams. Anything larger than this and they wedge themselves in there so I can't open the cage. Very annoying! What does anyone else use that works?

for the ones that want hides. Some of my animals don't use hides in the tubs though.

In the garden center of Walmart the flower pot disc that can go under the pot to collect water. Cut a small hole in it, they make all sizes. I remember reading on here that someone uses them for very large females.

Plain kitty litter pans from WalMart. I just cut a hole in the short side.
