reptilite?

theLC Aug 10, 2007 02:28 PM

anybody using it? is it better than reptisand, vitasand, etc.?
I know the many concerns out there with using sand substrates, I'm not starting a thread on substrate preference, simply product/brand opinions. thanks in advance.

reptilite is just another type of calcium based substrate. It has a high risk of causing impactions and other issues. Not worth buying it. Regular washed children's playsand is the only real particulate substrate that is the safest...it has pros and cons too...but out of all loose substrates, its the best.
