Okay, this sucks!!!

We have dragon babies that are 2 days to 2 1/2 weeks old. I have 2 cages that they are in. One of them is over 4 ft long and 2 ft wide and the other is not quite that big. Anyway, I go in to do a head count, give them a spritz of water etc. and what do I see but one of the older fellows with his mouth on the tail of another of the older fellows. As the one little guy was running across the cage the other guy was just getting dragged along behind him!!!! I got them separated easily enough and checked the little guys tail and it looks O.K. I mean it didn't get bit through or draw blood or anything like that but how can I tell if it was bit hard enough to do damage and is there anything I can do to help it heal???? Thanks Sharon

You may wanna take your biter out so he can't get anyone else. Either that or maybe take the victim out so he has no competition for food while he heals.

clean it up with some betadine or novalsan and hope for the best, its all you can do, hope he gets to keep his tail. and like said...it might be time to start seperating into smaller groups and take out that tail biter.
