EBV Salmon Females and a Het Albino

RyanHomsey Aug 10, 2007 11:19 PM

It was water changing day here at TNB and I pulled some of the EBV salmons out for some photos. A friend has been getting onto me about updated shots of the het albino (50% pos het stripe) as well, so I figured I'd do that for her as well. I am really enjoying watching these EBV salmons grow up. From the pictures Ive seen, the EBV mother was somewhat pale as a baby. Nothing crazy that jumped out at ya. By age 2 or 3 she was an absolute gem. I think these kids are pretty darn nice as neonates so I cant wait to see them as adults!

This first one is female 17. I had her up for sale for quite a while... a few weeks back I came to my senses and realized she's a hold back.

Next is female 19. Another one of my favorites. I should be holding her back too but I've already got 4 other females from this litter picked out.

This next one is female 20. This one has developed quite nicely.

Next is female 22. She was one of the tinest babies in the litter. Mom is somewhat of a small girl herself and she threw 30 babies. So some of these kids came out fairly small.

Here is yet another one that was up for sale that is getting changed to hold back status, female 27. She has the deepest reds out of any boa in the litter. Its not an underlying pink like is seen in some... its a deep red. Similiar to what I remember seeing in many of Jeff's monster tail boas.

And last is the het albino female. Every one of the hets in this litter turned out very nice. There were only two albinos in the litter (along side arab hets/albinos/and regular hets), and they are insane. Hets like this translate to beautiful stripeline albinos.

Thanks for looking all.

Morgans Boas Aug 11, 2007 11:21 AM

Geez man, you need to warn us before you post those bright Boas. You caught me without any sunscreen. That het is going to be a nice project to work on. I really wish that I had more room and time to raise more Boas. I really do want one of those EBV salmons. How many sheds have they had?
