This male was produced last year using a high contrast Motley male bred with a colorful Ronne Pastel female. He continues to show more color all after each shed. I think the Pastel adds both color and contrast to the Motleys.

Interesting being pastel does alot to the motley it doesnt show much as babies but as they mature WOW!

some of the differences in the babies. Here is a sister to that male from last year. The ones that seem to show the most color are the ones that show high contrast and color as babies. This female now is more colorful with more red than the male pictured in the previous post.

That is AWESOME. I also used a Pastel on 2 motley litters in 06 and made some INCREDIBLE colors on the Motleys. The look different, but I love all the variation. Those are awesome.
