These big babies started pipping Wednesday, and most hatched Thursday. Incubation time was 10 weeks at 80 - 82*F compared to nine weeks for previous clutches at 84 - 85*F. I weighed a randomly chosen baby at 16 grams. These are offspring from a large female (54 inches last summer, over a kilogram before laying eggs this year) and a large male (60 inches and over a kilogram last summer). Both were wc from the southwest side of Corpus Christi, TX.
