This male is actually getting lighter and loosing his black.I guess he will be very washed out as a adult.

this female is getting better and brighter orange with age.

I think he is going to loose his black also, I like it. I still love the faded headpattern he has. Where the female has a stand out head pattern, She has just enough black to set off her saddles from the background color. They look great and glad you are enjoying them.
