hey i just got a brown fbt and a green is that a way to tell it it is a male of female well i really wanna know how to tell the difference please help!?!

I read somewhere that the females are bigger than the males. That is if you saw them in a tank with a few other. You probably already know this but in the spring the males will "call" the females. Hope this helps!!!

male FBTs have thicker forearms, and have nuptial (i think i spelled that wrong) pads on their 'wrists.' the females are fatter-looking, in reality, they are just full of ovaries. nuptial (again, the spelling...) pads look kind of like little bumps, or velcro under magnification. any FBT that 'hugs' another is a male trying to go into amplexus. however, the receiver of thie 'hug' isn't necessarily a male, especially if they bark at the guy hugging them (telling them, 'hey, i'm a dude, get off of me!').
