Everglades color progression: 1 year old

Iriri Aug 12, 2007 07:34 PM

Claudia is about a year old now. She went from nut brown saddles to beautiful orange in almost no time. I honestly figured I'd been suckered into buying another subspecies; she was $12 at a herp show, and I figured if she turned out to be something else, I didn't care--I love all the rat snakes

So, here is the progression thus far:

She's super-mellow, good eater, not afraid of anything, but very curious.

wow, that is going to be a real knockout man. You should get a clamacophora (kunisar island rat) if you want to see a real drastic change also. They start out muddy brown and end up aqua bluish green.
