True Cape York Spotted Pics

JoBaggs Aug 12, 2007 11:41 PM

I recently got myself into a pair of Cape Yorks from beautiful parents (thanks Australian Addiction..see image of example of where mine came from).

1) I wondering who else is working with these and of course do they have offspring to add to my collection (I'd like to have 2.2 of differing bloodlines).

2) Also, post your pics so that we can see the differences in Cape Yorks vs. Regular Spots.

Thanks.

All the pure cape york spotteds are from one bloodline. You can get babies from diffirent breeders but they all originated from one source or "bloodline". They are great snakes to work with and one of the more contrasting Anteresia available.

Good for you! Spotted pythons are IMO one of the best pet snakes available. After the sometimes nippy baby stage, they often turn into the most mellow and inquisitive snakes around.

Wish I had those nice light Cape Yorks.

Good luck in your search, Joe, but all the pure Cape Yorks are all probably fairly closely related. You'll have to post pics of yours as they mature. I am excited to see how they turn out for you.

Wow, that's a beautiful snake. I think they may have just been added to my list. Spotted pythons IMO are one of the all time underrated snakes. Those Cape Yorks crank my rating up even higher.
