STOLEN GECKOS

rhacphantastic Aug 14, 2007 12:32 AM

Hi Everyone,

well I unfortunately had my car stolen last nite as I made my last errand of the day. I had met a customer just before that to sell a couple gargoyle geckos and still had 4 in the car. I was literally in the store 10 min and my car got stolen. Well I recovered my car but sadly my precious geckos were gone. Here is a link to their descriptions just in case anyone tries to sell them online: http://www.stickytoegecko.com/gargoyles.html it was "Zimbi" "Zinc" "Leno" from that page.

My guess is that they will probably be passed on to friends or they will try to sell them at a local petstore, but thought I'd post this just in case!

Thanks for your help everyone!

BASTAGES!!! grrrrrr!

I've never seen gargoyles at local pet stores. The big ones buy from their sellers exclusively.

Check your local classifieds. If you have not already considered it, call teh police to report the stolen animals. You have pictures on file, and if they are ever spotted anywhere your chances of recovering them are greater if the cops have those pictures and even pedigree.

Sucks... I really hope that whoever got them knows how to care for them. But if you recovered your car in good condition, sounds like a gang of juveniles may have taken the geckos too.. Breaks my heart to think about it. You would also benefit from contacting your local Juvenile Matters court, as maybe even some probation officer could have heard about the incident. If they're kids, they have a reputation already. Good luck
