My friends snake died, please help!

Grunngg Aug 14, 2007 01:30 AM

My friend woke up this morning to find one her Argentine Boas dead. It was young, only about a year and a half old. She had the vet look over her about a week ago and all looked pretty good. The vet said she was slightly under weight, but besides that, looked healthy. From what I understand, she was also in the process of being wormed. I dunno. I dont have much information, I was just curious if anyone here would have an idea why it died to suddenly. And should they worry about the other one, that lived in the same cage, being sick?
I told them to get blood work done on the other one
What do you guys think? Thanks.

Your best bet would be to have a necropsy performed on the dead snake. Make sure the body is not frozen and try to get it to the vet ASAP. This is where your most valuable information will be found. Good luck!
