Albino Anaconda

jmugleston Aug 14, 2007 02:20 AM

First off I apologize if this is a duplicate post. I looked back a few pages and this topic was not addressed recently.
A few years back I remember seeing pics of an amel. green anaconda. I saw other ads/articles that mentioned it had been bought and sold by a few different keepers, but I haven't heard anything for a while. Does anybody know what became of him? Are there others? Was he ever bred?

I believe one was lost in a shipping accident, some type of damage to the shipping container if I remember correctly. There are however one or two others in existence.

Any idea if the others are in America? Or any ideas of where to find more info?

I believe they are still in the U.S., but not sure who exactly has them at this time.

Stan Chiras had the last one I'm aware of. It was rather large. TC
