breeding question

onebadguy Aug 14, 2007 07:14 AM

i am looking into mating my desert king and was wondering if she (suspected, still to be probed) has to be paired with other desert kings or can she be bred with other locales?
I have been looking at buying a thayeri. Would both snakes need to be roughly the same size and age?
I am very new to breeding and looking forward to the excitement of waiting for a clutch and seeing what comes out.
Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to breed your splendida to a thayeri, you will have to be very careful or you'll have one fat splendida w/an expensive lunch. (burp!)
Seriously, try the hybrid forums. Maybe someone over there has tried it and had success.
