New beardies with pic

mamaofporter Aug 14, 2007 08:29 AM

How do my new beardies look to you? I've never had any before and I recently acquired two new adults who had a white spot light on them 24/7 for 2 years for the male and 1.5 years for the female. They're eating well now and look a little better after a full night sleep...

The pictures are not showing up, and the link just asks for a password to view. Maybe just upload the pictures to the kingsnake photo gallery. It will be much easier to view them from there.

one thing you mentioned in your first post concerns me. It may be just a miss print,,,but I wanted to clarify.

You said these two dragons have been under a white spot light 24/7 for 1.5-2 years? Dragons should have a distinct day/night period, not have lights on all day and all night. Also, if they don't have any UVB light this can impact their health as well. Unless they have been giving supplementary vitamin D3, their health won't be as good without UVB lights (unless they are regularly exposed to unfiltered natural sunlight)

No, the dragons had UV light as well. The spot light was on 24/7 and the UV light was shut off at night...
I'll try uploading again...
