Earlier this year, my friend Max and I headed to the Gila National Forest in NM. We found 3 pyros within 24 hours. Here's the first one:

This was my 6th pyro in the wild and I finally decided I would take this one home. Not long after having it, it started looking like this:

I asked around and people said it looked like a large meal in her stomach. The swelling went down after a few days, but still kinda chunky looking. My friend Max comes by a week or two later, picks the snake up and tells me "You bastard...I feel eggs". I threw in an egg laying box and the next morning I was greeted with these:

Almost 2 months later, my friend Max gives me a call and lets me know that one egg has hatched:

I took the rest home with me, go out to eat, come back and now there are two more out of their egg:

I'm still waiting on the last egg. Max and I first thought this snake might have died in egg. We cut a small slit in it and no movement or anything. Later on I see some newly cut slits with some bubbles coming through. No dead snakes here! Anyway, just wanted to share this with you. I've never hatched anything out or had a snake give birth before...not even garters. If you count the eggs, that two day Gila trip rewarded us with 7 pyros. Not bad for NM!
Update: Last pyro is out of the egg this morning. One pyro has one (maybe two black crossovers), one has a LOT of crossovers, the other two have a few crossovers but with one having a couple abberant bands as well. I'll try to get individual pictures up soon.
