Night Drop Settings

Im looking into buying a helix and I was wondering if anyone could explain how the night drop option works? Does it just shut off the heater and slowly cool or does it just reduce the temp with out shutting off? Thanks Melisa

B. it just changes the temp to whatever you set it for.
