this is my first time in this forum, so hello to everyone! My wife got off work early today, so she decided to stop by a pet shop and see what they had...she ended up coming home with an albino gopher snake! LOL just another addition to our little zoo...anyways, can anyone give me an exact ID? What subspecies of gopher snake is this? Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi, That's a great looking snake! It's an Albino San Diego Gopher...just like mine. Those turquoise/light blue spots are neat, huh? They'll turn to white as he ages & sheds & the oranges & reds should randomize a little...they're beautiful! How big & old is he? I've heard they stay pretty small, almost dwarfed, by the albinism & mine has done just that, so I was curious if yours had. Good luck with him! goyotle
