behavior question

chonjoepython Aug 15, 2007 01:36 AM

i have a large female ball. she is a great eater and trouble free. a captive raised 4 year old. she seems, however, hyperactive. she is constantly roaming her tub. none of my other adults do this so incessantly. most are only active at night, if at all. whats with this girl. any ideas?

I have one female that does that too and has off and on for along time now
sometimes she will just chill other times she is always on the move

many times she is ready to get out the minute I open the door to her cage(not a tub)

not sure why they do that maybe someone else has more info

by the way the temps are good in her cage she has plenty of hides and is offered plenty of food so she isn't food searching

I have a female that is like that also. If you take her she just is always moving around. Mine that is like that is long and skinnier than my other females. Not skinny as unhealthy but her body is different.

I have a female that does this too. She's 2500g and 5 feet long, tame as can be -- one of only two that I trust never to bite. My girl is just constantly hungry...she eats a LOT every feeding day and will sit contentedly coiled for a few days. But once everything starts digesting, she cruises and searches to get out and get more. I take her out often to let her burn off some of that anxiety, but it doesn't help too much -- she still wants more food. She's kept in a rack with the others, belly heat set at 90 and front of the rack is at 75 like the room.
