For some reason, I posted a question a few days ago, accompanied by a link to an amazing cage, but it was taken down almost immediately. So I'll ask the questions again, sans link.

I have a roughly 6 month old tiger retic female. She's about 5.5', give or take. At the moment she's in a 4'x2' terrarium. And now I've started the design work on her inevitable HUGE cage, and I have to ask some questions.

1) Is there any drawback to using aluminum frame work and aluminum siding (obviously provided there's no potential for electrical or excessive thermal conductivity)?

2) What do you recommend (including where to buy) for heating a 10'x6'x5' enclosure?

3) I often see a large couple housed together - do you think it would be a bad idea to house a pair of large retics together? Other than the obvious feeding issues.

4) Glass vs. acrylic.
