Some Annulated Tree Boa Pics...

C. Elmer Aug 15, 2007 10:41 AM

Since I aquired my group of Annulateds back in Februrary, which is a shared project with Spitfire Reptiles, I've gotten very few decent pictures of any of the animals. Well, finally yesterday I was able to pull out one of the females and get a few nice shots of these very unique tree boas. This girl is probably the most "average" looking of the 2.3 that I currently have here, which is to say she can go from dark charcoal grey, to ghostly silver and white, to a warm hight contrast almost greenish tone all in the same day. These are superb animals to work with and I anticipate highly the day when more people discover these awesome little critters. Enjoy the pictures,

I just acquired a pair of cb. 04 annulated's. Neat little snakes. Mine go from a coffee color to a silvery grey. Not all that active of a snake except late at night when they will explore their cage. It amazes me how calm these are compared to other tree boas. Even gtp's seem "crazy" compared to these. The dealer that i got them from said it would probably be2009 until i could expect any chance at breeding. For 3 year old animals they are small. (3ft) Anyway, they are gorgeous and hopefully they will breed. Good luck with yours. Contact me with any info that you have on annulateds habits.
