Rats, don't have my snakes yet... OT

natsamjosh Aug 15, 2007 10:01 PM

Gonna be a few weeks (hopefully not months!) before I get my Indigo babies, but to practice posting pics, here are a couple of Mickey the rat and Sophie the St. Bernard, two of our current pets. Maybe once I have the Indigos set up, I can sneak a BRB/CRB into the closet.. er, I mean snake room, somehow.

Yeah, I hear you. In order to stay close to my "hobby budget",
I had to sell a couple of my prize fossil shark teeth. I was also considering Angolan Pythons, but as neat as they are, I just couldn't justify (even to myself) paying $2K per snake!

Sure, will do. BTW, as adults, at what size would those baby male Argentinian RB's max out?

Thanks,
Ed

Ed,
...Most adults are 3.75 to 4.5 feet long. A few exceptions can get bigger. They are slender snakes compared to BRBs and so even at those lengths are not so big.
