Mirrors and Snakes

PBR Aug 15, 2007 11:23 PM

Odd I know, but when sitting and looking at my evil Borneos set up I realized that a mirror was on one entire side of the snakes cage. Could my Borneo have been over stressed by seeing himself, or at least the movement he made, in the reflection from the mirror or am I grasping at straws? With the large heat pits are Borneos vision even a factor?

i just put a mirror up to one of mine and it smiled really big!

j/k.

they supposedly have poor eyesight, but it sounds like you are keeping it in a glass aquarium. If you are, and there is a lot of traffic going past it, this could be stressing the snake.
