Sick Rhino

My 6 yr old male Rhinoceros Iguana seems sick. His behavior started to change about three days ago when I was cleaning his cage. I let him free roam while his cage was being cleaned and he went and perched on top of another iguana's cage and stayed there for the night. (He doesn't appear to have burned himself on any of the heat lamps however) The next day when I picked him up off his perch, I noticed that his left eye was blinking weird - it was like the 'inner lid' part of the eye would blink frequently and irregularly, and he wouldn't use his regular exterior eyelid to 'blink'. When I came to check on him that night, he threw up and hasn't had much of an appetite since. He ate a small amount of food the next day, but hasn't shown any interest in food since then. And just tonight when I went to check on him, his eyes seemed more sunken and he was lethargic. He is still 'blinking' weird with that left eye, and both eyes are somewhat sunken. I also noticed that his left arm was having muscle spasms, or that the muscles were twitching irregularly. It will be a few more days until I can get him to the vet. Until then, does anyone have any advice as to what I can do for him? He's had a UVA/UVB bulb on his cage since I got him, although lately I haven't been giving him his vitamins as regularly as I used to. I am thinking that this may be the cause of the muscle spasms and lethargy, but it's impossible for me to tell. Does anyone know of these symptoms can result from spider bites? I have seen some strange looking bugs in the room his cage is in lately, and I'm wondering if one of them bit him or if he ate one. If anyone has had a similar problem and knows the cause or has any advice as to what I can do to help him in the next few days, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help.

This sounds very serious. I'd get him to the vet sooner rather than later. I would consider this an emergency.

To me it sounds like he may have gotten into something toxic, maybe ingested.
