an update on BOB the sulcata

unchikun Aug 16, 2007 07:34 AM

the story of bob (the sulcata who was stolen from his family's backyard, cut up, and dumped -- scroll down the forums for the story links if you like) has kind of fallen out of the news after they caught the waste of carbon who did it to him.

still, i was concerned as to how poor bob was doing, so i looked up the number for the rescue place he was at, and gave them a call the other day! apparently bob is eating well on his own again now, and has gone home. he is still on antibiotics for his wounds, which are of course healing slowly but otherwise seem okay all things considered.

just an update in case anyone else was curious.

Thx for the good news. I still can't accept having to live on a once beautiful planet that continually allows these malignant and contorted minds to function at will. Law enforcement is virtually nonexistent when it comes to abuse and torture of MoNa's (MotherNature) kids..The powers the be still don't get it! We're all in this together..What you send around will eventually go around and bite you on the backside..just wait long enough..
So, as a caretaker of a 60lb Sulcata ("Big"hatched 3/02, I send a kiss to "Bob" and warm wishes for a speedy recovery.
