I'm going to be out near Bakersfield on Lake Buena this weekend. Does anyone know the area? Any good road cruising spots? Thanks.

How did your trip to Bakersfield go?
Where were you when you got the shots that you posted of the rattlers?
Hope you had a successful trip. One of these days I am going to get out west to do some herping and that will be something I'll really be looking forward to.

Hi Afro...
I never did make it out to Bakersfield however I did a trip down to Anza Borrego with the following results:
3 DOR Coachwhips
1 DOR Cal King
2 AOR Sidewinders
3 AOR Shovel-nosed Snakes
2 AOR Leaf-nosed Snakes
Unfortunately I forgot to pack my camera of all things so I have no pics from this trip.
The Mojave was found on a road a little southwest of Death Valley which appears to be the edge of it's range. The Speckled was on a road just south of Joshua Tree.
