My juv water is interesting in many ways...one of them is he lets me know right away if my husbandry is off. He will, without question, bite me if I come near him if I have it wrong. He will actually seek me out to let me know with a chomp.
Now, if I adjust to his liking (this changes by the way) he is back to climbing up my arm as if we are buddies. It isn't just about temperature or any one thing, he may not like the shape of his enclosure or how I have arranged things. If I slack on water changes, same thing.
He likes what he likes when he likes it, and seems to know I am responsible.
Anyways, I just thought that was extremely cool and very unexpected (for me). I may be reading more into it than is warranted.
cheers
Tom
