I am a succesful breeder. Are Ball Pythons a good investment? Is the ball market over-flooded? What is a good starter morph? Do they sell? Need advice.

Balls are a hobby, I would not look at them as a business. Buy what you like.

desire. If you are going to make a business, you would be better off to work with combinatioin morphs like bumble bees, double recessives, and recessive co-doms. If you breed a bunch of do-doms, you won't stand to make alot, but I feel the above listed snakes can make you some money. Yellow bellies and fires are pretty hot markets right now because of the weird things they do to other genes. With all this being said, keep 'em cause you love 'em, not for the money. I often feel that if you invest and have to make a certain amount of money back that it takes the fun out of breeding. Good Luck!!!!!

balls are always a good investment they will be around forever! kids growing up want them, you should breed want you like...that way you`ll be happy when there not selling as fast as you want! i have learned alot since i started breeding..this business is not a get rich quick venture!! it is alot of hard work and alot of hours...in the end you hope it pays off! if you dont breed cuz every one else is, you`ll just wish you did down the road...you can be as big as want to be, it just takes time!!

it all depends on if you ship or not..if you breed well and are willing to give away your kids....

unless you live in an area that NEEDS balls yet has none around.....hard to find.......

.......around here in southeastern Pa.....we need nothing I guess...nothings sells that well......
