Unidentified Elaphe?

captnemo Aug 17, 2007 02:24 AM

I picked this snake up from a friend and still cannot figure out what species it is. Perhaps an American Rat integrade. That's what has been suggested to me. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Ready for this? It was sold at a flea market to a friend of a friend as a Ball Python! Took a while to stop laughing when I saw it. Not even close, buddy!

Looks like a Fox Snake to me.

skronkykong Aug 17, 2007 02:19 PM

the head does kind of strike me like that of a bullsnake. could be a hybrid maybe?

captnemo Aug 18, 2007 03:43 AM

That was my original guess.

Definately looks like it has some fox snake in it...but the head looks a little different. Probably a hybrid fox snake with...?
