getting aggressive?

My snake is probably about 2 now. It usually just curls up in one of those humidity habitat caves. It would never even hardly pop it's head out. I had him out two days ago. He acted fine, but it was weird, he almost ALWAYS stays curled up when you hold him. Well he untangled and looked around. Yesterday when I walked by the aquarium he started to come out, so I just started opening up the screen top to see what he'd do. He rushed most of him out of that cave to the other side of the HUGE aquarium (about 3 feet). I thought he was getting aggressive. Then I figured he was just hungry, so I fed him more. Today, he was curled up in his cave most of the day, so I thought that solved it. But just now when I got close he started to slowly come out? What is going on with him?

Maybe he just wants to get out of the tank alittle more. I have some that do that when they want out. Of course they are always looking for ways to escape me.lol Balls love their hides most do not venture out unless hungry or just looking to try and escape.
