A few more of this year's hatchlings
Let’s start with one of my ghosts
This picture doesn’t come close to doing her justice but it will
have to do until I can get new batteries for the camera .

Next, a nice little cinnamon. Flattened that head like a little viper…lol

And last but not least one of my favorites from this season…a cool little
rootbeer. I just like this little guy…and he is het hypo so that helps…lol

That Rootbeer is unique.

Which county in Alabama is that beautiful WC female from?
(I collect wild Corn photos and have a compulsion for organization...lol)

Thanks.

I was checking my records and neither of these Alabama specimens are from Dekalb county.
I used to have a female from Dekalb. She was a beauty.
I wish these two were from Dekalb county, though. That would mean they are coming back to the area.
Just don't seem to be as many around there anymore.
Kind of like the area I live in now. When I was growing up they were common here. Now, I can't find any.
In the last six or seven years I think I have seen three corns.
One DOR, this A$$ H@le purposefully ran over it. There was a little hatchling I found a couple of years ago that I just didn't want to take from the wild. Too few here.
And one was a nice three foot specimen I found in 2000 but at the time I was not keeping snakes. I got rid of the ones I had previously and hadn't got back into the hobby....yet.
After letting that beauty go it got me thinking about getting back into snakes.
Not long after, I did....LOL
sorry to ramble

That rootbeer is the lightest one I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot of them. I've never seen a baby corn quite like that Alabama hatchling with the yellow background color. Are either of its parent's colored like that?

All those babies are nice. It looks like you had a good year, Jimmy.

Hey Tim,
The female was caught wild, no idea about the parents. The colors are a little off due to the flash but not a lot. She probably hatched real early this year or late last year.
As far as the little male, his mother was caught gravid.
I will have to see if the person I got him from has pics of her.
He just hatched a week or so ago.

I really like that first one. Will he keep that dark brown or lighten up?

my guess is he will look similar to the female. She was darker when she was smaller.
