Thats what snakes are.
They dont bark or shed (all over the house anyway..lol)! You dont have to walk them, as a matter of fact, you can leave them alone and not even pick them up for a year and they would be just as happy. However, if you feel like taking them out, they will sit all warm in your lap and watch TV with you for a couple hours..no problems.
They eat once every 7 - 10 days, but ohh yeah - if they really needed to, they can go without food for a year or more, so if you run a few days or even weeks late in feeding them...no worries mate!!
They only go to the bathroom a couple 2 maybe 3 times a month, no piles in the back yard for the kids to track into the kitchen or pooper-scoopers here.
Balls especially, are gentle and curious animals that are fairly easy to breed, the perfect learning pet for young children and the intermidate level hobbyiest, busy professional, or person with limited space to utilize in upkeep.
The perfect pets.
Very well said..
definetly!! thanks for all posts.
You forgot - they don't chew on your favorite shoes, pee on the floor, and they are hypoallergenic too. LOL!

JET Pythons
(CJBianco explaining the origins of the BP market.)
"In the beginning Bob created the Ball Python market. And the market was without morph, and wild traits were upon the industry. And Bob said, Let there be morph, and there was morph. And Bob saw the morph, that it was good; and Bob divided the morph from the wild trait. And Bob called the morph Albino, and the wild trait Normal. And the Albino and the Heterozygous Albino were the first investment.

The allergy statement reminded me of a recent ad posted on craigs list in my area. They had 2 boas and a ball that they were allergic
to. Made me laugh.
Seriously...it's like they are holding onto it like gold until they use it to mark their territory or something lol

they go when they need to.
Do you go after every meal? How about every day?
People think way too much about snakes. They all do fine in the wold without people worrying about this stuff.
To the person asking the question. This is not to attack you, I PROMISE. My point is, for a decade or more I have seen people on this site ask what to do about the snake that did not shed in one piece. I have seen people ask about a snake sitting in a bowl of water for too long (whatever too long is). I have seen people say their snake spends all day in a hide. I could go on and on.
My point is this. Thank God peopel decided to bring snakes into their homes, I am not sure they would have survived in the wild much longer. I mean they have done so for hundreds of thousands of years without help, their luck was prbably running out by now.
