I mostly read the forum but I just wanted to post a pic of this little guy. Im pretty partial to him. With any luck he could be something cool. Either way I like him. The slight kink he has is quite mild.....

he is indeed sweet jay....you gonna bring him to morehead next month? I'd love to get a close look at him....oh yeah I've decided I'm saving that favor you owe me for an offspring if he proves. OH yeah and good job not naming it before you have a leg to stand on by proving him...

Thanks Levi, I will probably have him there before it gets any cooler. Im hoping he gets up to size, hes pushing 200g right now and although Im not much for power-feeding a few extra meals shouldnt hurt. I should have him ready to go, at least a couple females anyways. As far as naming it, yea your right I think it's bad karma and there have been some cool names grabbed up by unproven stuff. Personally I don't see the point in naming anything until it proves genetic and that has been done ALOT. Right now I just call him something special

Jay,

He is beautiful... I am much more partial to the brown, black and earth-toned morphs and this one is a stunner!

I hope you are able to prove him out for yourself.

If I could be so bold as to make a suggestion, he feels and looks like an Autumn Glow or Autumn Harvest to me...he has that look that reminds me of the Fall colors here in the North East.

Once again - beautiful!

Thanks Alan! I agree, I am quite partial to the darker, erthier tones as well (thus wanting him so bad). They just seem to still represent the "normals." (not that Im opposed to all the cool stuff out) I will keep those names in mind as I agree. Like I said to Levi, to me it just feels like bad mojo or something to name something in advance. Once again, some very cool names have been ate up like that. I guess you could always use one of those names "if" it did prove, but there would always be that "unproven" label that comes along with it. He has a lot of potential as far as Im concerned and I am blessed to have him in my collection even if he doesnt prove. Thanks again Alan.

I have seen many similar looking animals, but that one is the closest to my animal. I will know if it's genetic this season... it appears to be a recessive if anything. I have several het girls that should be up to size this year. He will get better with age... I don't think that kink with matter much at all. Good Luck with the project!

Here's a few pics of mine...
